I’m slowly, very slowly, working my way through old half-finished projects. These Minion freezer pop coozies have been almost done for several years. All I needed to do was sew the eye on and add the mouth. It took me an hour or two when all is said and done. Not sure why it took me so long to get them done. I think it’s because I always have two or three new projects I want to get started and am just too impatient to finish the other things off.
These will be perfect with summer coming up. The boys are always complaining about cold fingers holding the freezer pops and this should protect those little fingers. My grandson picked them up and asked if they were finger warmers. So I guess in a pinch we could use them for our fingers this winter, right?
I found the pattern on Ravelry by Tanya Bernard. She also has a light saber pattern that I want to make. It looks really cute with those ice pops in them.
I’ve been told that my next project is finishing up more crochet food. I’ve failed as a grandma. He doesn’t have any strawberries or bananas to make fruit salad. Kids, right!?
