Oh it’s been so long since I’ve finished anything crochet. A few of these things have been done for months and I’m only now just getting around to showing them off.
This is an afghan test I did for Julie Yeager called Savannah Round Ripple. The color combinations and possibilities are endless with this design. It’s also a very easy project with simple repeats to work on in the car or in front of the TV.
I had some bright pink and green that I had no idea what to do with and thought this would be perfect. The finished project is a bit small but perfect as a baby blanket or even for a toddler bed. You can see my grandson just had to get in on the picture.
I finished another set of placemats. This one for my Seahawks loving daughter. The colors were as close as I could with this particular yarn. I used my favorite colorblock placemat pattern and Lion’s Brand 24/7 Cotton yarn.
I have a few more color combinations in mind. One of them red, white and blue just in time for the fair.
