It seems like my nephew had his 7th birthday not too long ago and here I am making a cake for his 8th birthday. Where does the time go?
This year he chose Star Wars and was very specific about the scene he wanted. Luke fighting Darth Vader with the Sith Lord watching. Well I couldn’t get the Sith lord in there but that apparently was okay because he said it was exactly what he wanted. Whew! Last year he told me I left off one of the characters on his Avengers cake (it was a bad guy so technically not an Avenger anyway)
I normally don’t like using action figures or toys but frankly this cake needed it and I didn’t feel like I had the talent or the time really to make the figures myself.
