Ok, so this scarf has actually been done for a couple of weeks now, but we finally have had some decent weather so I can take a nice outdoor shot. Sorry no modeling photos, I’m camera shy.
This was a scarf I tested for Anastacia Zittel and I did this scarf in Aunt Lydia’s Cotton size 5 thread in a pretty spring green color. I absolutely love filet crochet, I love watching a picture emerge as you’re going along. This scarf was pretty easy to memorize the repeats so I didn’t have any problems watching movies and just letting my fingers do their thing.
It’s a bit wider than I would like for a summer scarf and I really should have made it longer but it really is a nice scarf. There is a pattern published but not for this particular pattern, she has a smaller scarf called Fluttering Diamonds that is not so wide and has a smaller diamond pattern.
This really is the only thing I’ve finished in the past two weeks. I started working on yet another afghan for my daughter’s birthday which is May 17th so I need to get it done. It’s a graph-ghan minion throw. I’m about 1/3 of the way through it and have to really get moving on it if I want to get it done for her birthday.
Very pretty! It looks hard to do . . .

It really isn’t. It’s basic stitches, double crochet and chains. You just need to follow the chart and the picture emerges.
