I can’t say that I have very many finished projects since the holidays. I’ve been working away at a few things, but have finished very few.
Here are two scarves that tested for two different designers. This first one is by Anastacia Zittel called Leafing for Spring, it’s actually a shawl or scarf pattern. I used Loops and Threads Payette from Michaels. It has a little silver sparkle going through it and random sequins. In hindsight I really should have made this a shawl and not a scarf because of the leaves along the edges. I haven’t quite figured out how to wear it as a scarf. I also needed to make it a little bit longer I think.
This is an interesting scarf pattern by Shyama Nivas called Cippikal Scarf. It is a scarf pattern but I can easily see this sized up to make a nice wrap or shawl. For this one I used Deborah Norville Serenity Garden fingering yarn. I call it my Fiesta Scarf, it’s so bright and festive don’t you think?
Hopefully I’ll get another thing or two off my hook this next week. I’m working on testing another scarf pattern for Shyama which should be done this weekend.
