Ugh! I was just thinking a few nights ago that I wanted to make a few things for family members for Christmas and after going through a list in my head I realized I had better get my hooks a flying otherwise I’ll never get anything done.
Every day I keep adding more and more to my list. Not to mention a few things that I need to get done before Christmas, before Halloween even!
I know it seems like 126 days is a lot of time, but there’s a reason people say Christmas in July. If you don’t start crafting then you’ll never get everything done!
How about you all? Got your lists made? Are you doing better than me? I still have things that were supposed to be for LAST Christmas to get done.
I am terrible about making ridiculously ambitious Christmas lists. Right now I have 8 scarves (two made) and 7 blankets (2 made, one started) on my list, and I have barely scratched the surface of the handmade gifts I want to make! I have quick patterns at least, and I am glad that I have started some already, but it will be hard to get everything in, especially since I know I will add more to the list. Oh, and I need to finish a shawl for a friend’s birthday next month, make a hat for my daughter, and work on some ongoing projects for myself that I have been neglecting. And finish off some hand towels my grandmother mostly made before she died to share with my cousins. It never ends, does it?

Your list sounds as long as mine! You’re right it never does end and the list just grows on and on.

I hear ya! There is no way I’ll get everything done that is on my list so I’ll have to do some pruning as well.
