Finished Object – Fri…ooops Saturday!

So it’s a day late but I wanted to show off the afghan that I finally finished, about a year and a half after starting it. This was meant for a long time family friend for Christmas in 2011…yeah, it wasn’t done in time. Not even done in time for Christmas 2012. But better late than never. She loves purples and greens, rich jewel tones, so I hope she likes this. I used Bernat Softee Chunky and one of their patterns called Diamonds and Tweeds.

These are some squares I finished for Anastaciaknits as part of her Warm Up America squares testing. Such easy and quick patterns. Really a great way to use up your stash.

And last but not least this quick little hat for me.  It turned out rather cute I think and fits well also. It’s called Divine Hat by Sarah Arnold

Now I need to decide what to work on next. I have several more afghans in various stages of completion that I need to finish. But I really just want to do a few quick projects to feel some instant gratification. Off to check out possibilities!
